No tricks. Here is how that works.
Most free QR tools make money by trapping you later — expiring codes, ads on scans, accounts you never wanted. bebber doesn't. This page lists what we do and don't do, in plain words, so you can check it.
What we never do
Never require an account
Create and edit without registering. Accounts are optional and add a dashboard, nothing else.
Never expire
A code made today scans next year and the year after. No trial countdown.
Never cap scans
Scan a code once or a million times; the price and the content stay the same.
Never show ads on scans
The person scanning sees your material. No banners, no interstitials, on any plan.
What happens to your data
Private by default
Nothing you upload is listed or indexed. Only people who scan or hold the link get in; add a password if you want a second lock.
Your email stays yours
We use it to send the edit link and, if you have an account, the login link. It is stored encrypted and never sold or shared.
Scan statistics without IP addresses
Scan counts and countries are derived at scan time; the IP address itself is not stored.
Delete means delete
Deleting a bebber removes its files. The code then answers "gone" instead of pretending to work. Account deletion and a data export are one click in Settings.
What happens in your browser
No third-party requests
Fonts, scripts and images come from bebber.com only. No Google Fonts, no tag manager, no analytics beacon.
No cookie banner
Because nothing tracks you, there is nothing to consent to. The cookies we do set are listed on the cookies page.
Drafts stay on your device
An unfinished code is kept in your browser's storage so a reload does not lose it. It is never uploaded until you press create.
Money
Free is free
No payment details to start. Paid plans add analytics, automation and higher limits; the core product is complete without them.
Polar handles payment
Polar is our merchant of record: it processes the card, applies VAT, and issues the invoice. bebber never sees your card number.
Cancel or downgrade anytime
Codes above your new limit keep scanning; only editing them pauses until you are back under the limit. You can withdraw within 14 days.
