What we use
bebber sets no tracking cookies and no analytics cookies. Our own marketing pages count visits with a self-hosted, cookieless analytics tool that stores nothing in your browser — the privacy policy describes its exact shape. Nothing is loaded from or sent to anyone else’s servers: no Google Fonts, no tag manager, no ad-tech. What follows is the complete list of what your browser stores on our behalf, and why.
Cookies
Every cookie bebber sets is strictly necessary for something you or a page you're viewing asked for:
bebber_session— keeps you signed in to your account. A JWT, valid for 30 days, set only after you log in.bebber_logged_in— a small flag so a page can show "Dashboard" instead of "Log in" without a server round trip. It holds no personal data.bebber_lang_{code}— remembers the language a visitor picked in a bebber page's footer language switcher, so the same page opens in that language next time. One year, scoped to that one code's page.bebber_access_{code}— proof that you entered the correct password for one password-protected bebber, so you aren't asked again on every block of that page.bebber_lead_{code}— proof that you already passed a creator’s email gate, for that one code only.bebber_tz— your browser’s time zone, read on your own dashboard and edit pages so "today" in your scan stats lines up with your clock instead of UTC. Set only on those creator-facing pages, never on a page you’re just viewing.
Browser storage
A few settings live in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device — nothing here is sent to us until you take the matching action:
bebber.create.draft.v1— an unfinished create-flow draft, so a reload or an accidental tab close doesn't lose your work. Only uploaded to our server once you press create.bebber_login_email— the last email address you used, prefilled the next time you log in or create a code.bebber.audio.inputMode— your last audio-recording mode, so the recorder opens the way you left it.
How to clear
Clearing cookies and site data for bebber.com in your browser's settings removes everything above: it signs you out, forgets your last email and language choice, and drops any unfinished draft. Nothing else on the service is affected — your bebbers, your account, and anything you've published stay exactly as they are.
Changes
We’ll update this page if what we store changes. Since none of it is used for tracking or advertising, § 25 (2) TDDDG classes all of it as strictly necessary — no consent banner is required. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture of what we store and why.
